Organic Barley Flour (Hordeum vulgare) is made from the cereal Barley. Originating in Ethiopia and south East Asia, it is also called as Jau in Hindi. The grain has a chewy texture and a nutty taste. It is used to make cereals and as a substitute to rice. It is known as the king of cereals and is used in soups, salads, stews, and curries for a rich flavour. It is harvested from March to May. Our organic barley flour has a coarse texture made from the finest quality of certified barley grains and is stone ground to keep its nutritional value intact.
