Organic Bay Leaf Powder is made from dried Bay Leaves (Laurus nobilis). It is normally harvested between November and February once every 2 years. Also known as Tejpatta in Hindi, it is a smooth, elliptical leaf in appearance with a mildly bitter taste. The leaves contain about 1.3% essential oils (ol. lauri folii). Bay leaves powder is used in pickling, marinating, and flavoring many dishes.
