Organic Bay Leaf (Laurus nobilis) is an aromatic olive-green herb. It has a subtle yet intense flavour and is most commonly used in Indian curries and rice dishes and in custards and stews in the Western Cuisine. It is normally harvested between November and February once every 2 years. Also known as Tejpatta in Hindi, it is a smooth, elliptical leaf in appearance with a mildly bitter taste and the dried leaves have a fragrance similar to thyme and oregano.
