Organic Black Gram Dal Split – With Skin


Known for being quite delicious, Organic Black Gram Dal – Split with skin (Vigna Mungo) is largely used in Ayurvedic medicine. A significant part of the Indian cuisine, the lentils are split but not skinned and have a creamy white interior and a strong earthy flavour. They are normally harvested from March to April and are nutritious with a high amount of protein content. They are mostly cultivated in the southern parts of Asia. Also known as Urad Dal in Hindi, Black Gram Dal when cooked has a sticky consistency.
