Organic Black Gram Mogar – Split without Skin (Vigna Mungo) is mostly grown in the southern parts of Asia. These lentils are white in colour; sometimes known as white gram. They are normally harvested from March to April and are sticky in texture with a bland flavour. Also called Black Gram in English and Urad Dal in Hindi, they are known for having many medicinal and curative attributes. They have been cultivated for a long time in history.
