Organic Green Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) has a distinct aroma and potent taste and is widely used in the Indian cuisine and as a pivotal ingredient in Garam Masala. It is harvested normally from September to December. Cardamom has a strong, unique taste, with an intensely aromatic, resinous fragrance. While cardamom is one of the most expensive spices by weight, only a little of its powder is needed to impart its flavour to a dish. Cardamom is widely used in various cuisines and as medicinal herb – especially in connection with Ayurveda, naturopathy, and traditional Chinese medicine.
