Organic Ceylon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia) is native to Srilanka, Madagascar and Southern parts of India. Generally considered as “true cinnamon”. It is normally harvested from mid August to November, Ceylon cinnamon is more subtle and refined. Naturally dried inner bark of the tree comes to the market through a hand crafted process. The final product is available as a valuable spice that contains sweet taste and confirmed health advantages. Cinnamon is used in bakery products, Asian foods, flavoured tea for its distinctive aroma and flavour and also in the preservation of certain foods.
