Organic Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) is native to the Maluku Islands in Indonesia. Cloves are the dried, unopened, nail-shaped flower buds of the evergreen Syzygium aromaticum. They are reddish-brown in color and have a strong, aromatic flavor and aroma.” They are commonly used as a spice in the Asian, African, Mediterranean and Middle East cuisine. Cloves are available throughout the year and are normally harvested from December to February.
