Organic Coriander Whole

Organic Coriander (Coriandum Sativum) also known as Dhania powder in Hindi is made as one of the world’s oldest spices. When ripe, the seeds are yellowish-brown or tan in colour with longitudinal ridges. It is normally harvested from mid-February to March. Coriander seed has a warm and subtle flavour with a slight citrus hint. Coriander Seeds are widely used as condiments in the preparation of curry powders, sausages and seasonings. It is an important ingredient in the manufacture of food flavourings, in bakery products, soda & syrups, puddings, candy preserves and liquors. In medicines it is used as a carminative, refrigerant, diuretic, and aphrodisiac.
