Organic Cowpea – Red

Organic Red Cowpea beans (Vigna unguiculata) are small red beans that are one of the widely cultivated annual crops in India. The red beans have a little oval structure with a black eye in the middle. They contain a high amount of protein and have an exquisite nutty taste. They are normally harvested from May to September and are also known as Catjang in Africa and Lobia.
