Organic Fenugreek (Trigonella Foenum-graecum) is an annual plant in the Fabaceae family. It is normally harvested from February to mid-March and is also called as Methi in Hindi. Fenugreek seeds are small brown seeds in appearance which have a pleasing flavour with a bitter undertone. They are used in small amounts due to their overpowering taste. They are used in tempering and commonly added in pickles, in garnish, salads, soups, pasta and stir fries. It is also used as a carminative, tonic, and aphrodisiac. Organic Fenugreek oil is used in the manufacture of hair tonics.
