Organic Kidney Beans Speckled – Organic Chitra Rajma (Phaseolus vulgaris) is grown in the foothills of Himalayas. White in colour and kidney shaped, they are known as Chitra due to the design on these beans. They are considered as both Rabi and Kharif crops and are grown from mid-May to November. They are widely used in the Mexican cuisine and in Indian dishes. Excellent plant-based source of protein, they have an exceptionally soft texture and more subtle taste than regular kidney beans.
