Organic Pearl Millet Flour (Pennisetum glaucum) is made from grinding the grains of Pearl Millet grains. Pearl Millet (Pennisetum glaucum) is gluten free and therefore, a great choice for celiac and gluten intolerant people. It is known as Bajra in Hindi and as Spiked Millet in English. It contains high amounts of protein, fibre, phosphorous, magnesium and iron. However, doctors recommend consuming Bajra in moderation during summers as it may cause digestive problems and discomfort. Pearl Millet is harvested from September to October.
