Organic Pigeon Pea Split, Arhar/Tur dal (Cajanus Cajan) is found commonly in all Indian kitchens. It is also known as Pigeon Peas, Red Grams, Yellow Lentil in English and Arhar, Tur, Tuvar, Toor Dal in Hindi, it is commonly available. It is harvested normally from April to September. It is yellow in colour and sweet and nutty in taste. It is cultivated mostly in tropical and sub-tropical countries. It is traditionally prepared as an Indian staple dish served with rich spices on rice.
