Organic Tapioca Powder

Tapioca Powder (Manihot esculenta) is a starch extracted from cassava root. It consists of almost pure carbs and contains very little protein, fibre or nutrients. Tapioca has become popular recently as a gluten-free alternative to wheat and other grains. Tapioca is a dried product and usually sold as white flour, flakes or pearls. Although it’s a staple in many countries, it contains no nutritional value. Tapioca has a neutral flavour and strong gelling power, making it effective as a thickening agent in both sweet and savoury foods. It is also known as Tapioca and Sabu Dana.
